Totally 8 EoP Programs are making a change in the lives of over 22.000 people in 23 communities !Program #1- CCC - On 22nd march 2006 a village (Morokkoddanchenai, 2500 villagers) on the east coast of Sri Lanka was selected by Rev. Dr. Jeyanesan of partner Ladder of Hope, Batticaloa and after a base line survey the first interventions have been implemented (village telephone, village ambulance, village medical clinic, initial grant for everyone, shared water wells. In the years 2007 and 2008 a community hall has been build, a few hundred micro credits have been issued and multiple health interventions have been executed.Program #2- RRDF - Started in November 2005 and continued in April 2006 several interventions (water tank truck, medical survey+treatment) have been initiated and carried out by our partner IREF in Repalle for a village Nallurripalem (2600 villagers) on the east coast of Andhra Pradesh, India. After building a school, houses and a medical facility it appearred not possible to progress with the other interventions. The remaining interventions of this project have been cancelled end of 2008. Program #3- RRDF - In March 2006 a first Slum was selected and served by Ms. Dolly and her staff of partner VEDA, Chilakaluripet, Andrha Pradesh, India and during the last week of April 2006 another 4 slums were added and (back in Holland) in the first week of May another slum was added (now counting to a total of 6 slums in Chilakaluripet (968 children!). In these slums meal programs, educational programs and medical programs have now been started and will serve as a first step in the End Of Poverty approach. During the years of 2007 and 2008 4 more slums and 2 stone cruncher slums were added. Total nr. of children is now close to 2000. Also in 2007 and 2008 many houses were build. End of 2008 the first micro credits were given to the parents. Program #4 - The Well Foundation - End of 2005 the start was made for an Agricultural Training Centre in MyDemu Tabia, TahTay Woreda, Tigray Ethiopia. Feb of 2007 Reborgh Foundation supplies a grant to pay for the integrated intervention : infrastructure, health, education, income and welfare in the Guelle village. Program #5 - Passion Connects - End of 2006 the start was made for the SirbaVillage near Deibre Zeit, Ethiopia. Program #6 - RRDF - In summer of 2007 a survey was done on a village on an island in the Krishna river delta on the coast of the Bay of Bengal in the state of Andhra Pradesh India. In January 2008 the project was officially launched. Program #7 - FD Kilimanjaro- In summer of 2008 a Dutch family establised themselves in the village of MTakuja, Moshe, Arusha (near Kilimanjaro mountain), Tanzania. A village of more than 4000 inhabitants will receive all interventions of which the irrigation project is the most important one. Program #8 - CCC - The project started early 2009 in the village of Nagapuram close to Batticalo, Sri Lanka, serving 500 people of more than 120 families.
