Name : Tammu Rishka Father’s Name : Nancharaiah Qualification : 10th Standard. Village : Elachetladibba Mandal : Nagayalanka District : Krishna
Family Details: My name is Tammu Ribbika. I hail from Elachetladibba Village. Altogether we are five members in our family. My father’s name is Nancharaiah and his main occupation is catching fishes and occasionally working as labourer in agricultural fields. My mother also works as labourer. My elder sister is studying 10+2 (Intermediate) and younger sister is studying 8th class. The names of my two sisters are Kalyani and Radhika.
Education background & present status: I have passed 10th class and got first class. After that I was unable to continue my studies because of our poor financial status. I have very much interest in studies. While I was idle at home, one of ASSIST volunteer guided me to join ASSIST to learn computers. Since I am very much interested in studies; I Joined “Corporate Employability Skills” course in ASSIST, Chilakaluripet. It is a residential program for six months. In this course, I am learning Computer Skills, Spoken English, Grammar, Soft Skills as well as Embroidery on Sarees. I am extremely hopeful of my future having joined this course and I am enjoying and looking forward to the completion of this course successfully.

Name : Karani Venkateswaramma Father’s Name : Nancharaiah Qualification : 10 + 2 (Intermediate) Village : Elachetladibba Mandal : Nagayalanka District : Krishna
Family Details: My name is Karani Venkateswaramma. I hail from Elachetladibba Village. Altogether we are six members in our family. My father’s name is Nancharaiah and he works as Agricultural Labour. My mother is also works as daily labourer. My sister has got married. My elder brother is also working as Agricultural labourer and younger brother is studying 10th standard.
Education background & present status: I have completed 10 + 2 (Intermediate) at S.N.B.T Degree College, Repalle. The main subjects of this course are Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. I got “A” grade in my 10 + 2 (Intermediate). Right now, I am undergoing “Corporate Employability Skills” course in ASSIST, Chilakaluripet. As I am interested in computer skill, I opted for this course on my own and I am enjoying studying here. I am continuing my course since my father is much very interested to educate me further and go for higher studies.

Name : Lakanam Durga Bhavani Father’s Name : Srinivasa Rao (Late) Qualification : 10th Standard. Village : Elachetladibba Mandal : Nagayalanka District : Krishna
Family Details: My name is Lakanam Durga Bhavani. I hail from Elachetladibba Village. I am an orphan. After completion of 10th standard, I have joined 10+2 (Intermediate) at Vijayawada city. At that time, my mother fell seriously ill and passed away. After one month of my mother’s death; my father too died in a lorry accident. It was very much miserable situation for me and become an orphan. The situation forced me to give up my studies and returned to my grandfather’s house.
Education background & present status: The main subjects I did in intermediate course were Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. After completion of intermediate; my ambition was to complete my graduation through distance education, which is being offered by many universities. Unfortunately; the situation at home and the poor economic conditions at my grandfather forced me to shell out my ambition. During this time I heard about the vocational courses offered in ASSIST and I have joined “Corporate Employability Skills” course at ASSIST, Chilakaluripet, Guntur District. I am very much interested in this course and I feel this course will be very useful to get a job. My ambition is after completion of this course, I can get a job as Computer Operator and while doing this job, I can complete my graduation through distance education. Since I am an orphan, I hope this course will give me an opportunity to become self reliant.
